Measure with CleanUpp

Bluetooth thermometers

More time for your guests. More control over food safety.

Measure the temperature and send the reading to your task in CleanUpp at the touch of a button. Less data entry, a clearer HACCP record.

Directly connected to CleanUpp

Turn a reliable measurement into a useful record

Open the task, take a measurement and send the reading using the button on the thermometer. CleanUpp automatically records the temperature, including the serial number of the thermometer used.

When reviewing your records, you can see which thermometer was used. The reading stays with the task and is available in your reports, helping with both your own checks and inspections.

Why choose this one with CleanUpp?

Check deliveries and food preparation with one thermometer. Switch between infrared and probe and send each reading to the corresponding task in CleanUpp, without reaching for a second instrument.

Infrared range
-49.9 to 349.9 °C
Probe range
-49.9 to 299.9 °C
Optics
5:1
  • Probe accuracy: ±0.4 °C (-49.9 to 199.9 °C)

Protection
IP67
  • Folding stainless steel penetration probe
  • Up to 1,000 hours of battery life

How it supports your hygiene checks

A practical choice for core readings of chilled products and hot dishes. Accuracy of ±0.4 °C helps you assess temperatures close to your task's limit with care.

When should you use each measurement method?

An infrared thermometer measures only the surface temperature and is ideal for a quick initial check. Always use a penetration probe for core temperatures or when in doubt.

From hygiene code to daily checks

The right probe lets you check the temperature inside the product. CleanUpp helps you record that check. These examples from Dutch NVWA guidance show when to use the penetration models.

Temperature checks with the TempTest Blue, Thermapen Blue or the probe of the Thermapen IR Blue
Check Example temperature limit How to measure
Chilled storage No more than 7 °C for many perishable products Measure the product with a penetration probe; reading the fridge display alone is not enough.
Hot holding At least 60 °C Check the core temperature of the dish with the probe.
Cooking chicken or minced meat At least 75 °C at the core Measure at the core; a hot surface does not tell you enough about the inside.
Cooling after cooking Below 7 °C within 5 hours Check with the probe and record the temperature in CleanUpp at each checkpoint.

Set your tasks and limits according to your sector's hygiene code and the product label. Some products have different or stricter requirements. Clean and disinfect the probe before and after use.

Confidence in your reading starts with a checked thermometer

All four models come with a traceable calibration certificate. Keep it with your instrument records and continue to check the thermometer periodically according to your hygiene code. The serial number on the CleanUpp reading helps you identify the instrument used.

KHN's thermometer testing checklist specifies a check every three months and recalibration or replacement if the deviation exceeds 1 °C. The melting ice and boiling water check is for penetration probes. For infrared, use a suitable reference as instructed by the manufacturer.
